-Attraction of U.K-

  Today I’ll posting about attraction of U.K. In summer vacation, I’m going to U.K, so I checked about attraction of U.K. It will help our department’s students who going to U.K.

  First attraction is Tower Bridge. It is symbol of U.K with Big Ben. I’ll introduce with picture. At first time, we can see both sides of soaring Gothicism top. Its night view is fantastic! This bridge is open-shut form and it open when the large vessel passed by. Many people want to see this sight, because it is magnificent sight. And it has four of Scottish top. These added uniqueness.

  Second attraction is Buckingham Palace. It is royal office of U.K as well as official place that welcome national guest. And this palace is a must for foreigners’ sightseeing, because its scene gives us formal and dignified feeling. After this palace is completed, Queen Victoria lived in first. Next every king and the present king lived in this palace, too. The highlight of visiting this palace is the changing of the royal guard. During the changing time, parade is held.

 

  Third attraction is Westminster Abbey. It is a U.K’s famous Gothic cathedral. This original form is St.petro Catholic-church that made by Anglo-Saxon dynasty. At the time this cathedral built, its style was Norman. But Henri ⅲ changed it to Gothic style. This is a place where perform a coronation of about 40 kings. So, most of kings and queens’ gravity are enshrined in this abbey and many national main event are performed. Now half of abbey is used for national church, and the rest are used for museum. Its interior exude dignified atmosphere by beautiful marble and splendid stained-glass. We can see here monument of Shakespeare, Wordsworth, Handel and so on. Also, there are many relic of royal family.

 

  There are many beautiful places except these place in U.K. So, during travel in U.K, I want to go many famous place^_^.

-PIZZA-

 

 

 

   These days there are many fast foods are popular. Today, one of them, I’ll post about pizza! Pizza is loved by men and women of all ages. And many pizza stores make variety of type of pizza. Today’s form of pizza is made in Italy in end of 18 century, because at that time Mozzarella cheese, garlic, anchovy and oil are used. And pork, lard, tomato are used in generally in 19 century. But end of 19 century, while Italy proceeds modernization, poverty is intensified. So many Italian emigrate to U.S.A. One of them, start to sell pizza because at that time’s economy suffered from recession. So pizza becomes commercialization.

  Now I’ll announce about method of pizza making. I think many people will wonder about it. First make dough which raise by yeast and lay underside widely, roundly. Next put on many ingredients like tomato sauce, anchovy, olive, mushroom, bacon, sausage, shrimp. And sprinkle Mozzarella cheese. Finally bake a pizza for 20~30minutes at 200°.

  Pizza’s type divided into pan, thin, screen pizza. It is type divided by making instrument. Pan pizza is method that using pan and its thickness is thick so, we can replace our meal into this. Thin pizza’s feature is that its crusts are thin. And screen pizza use screen that instrument, it is authentic pizza of Italy.

 Next I’ll introduce pizza according to topping. There are many pizza store, so each store has little different name’s pizza. So I will introduce best pizza in each store. First is Mr. pizza. In this store, ‘potato gold’ is best! Well…it’s my own opinion..^^ But I like it best. It has potato and bacon, so their harmony is fantastic. It is very plain and nutty. Second is Deutsche Filet of Domino Pizza. It is Germanity pizza, and it has smoked hog tenderloin, herb potato, handmade sausage. So it is also very plain! Third is bacon potato(rich gold) of Pizza Hut. And Papa John’s pizza’s best thing is chicken barbecue. It little bit spicy, but very delicious.

 

  I’m very hungry, because of pizza…^^;;;; I’m happy to inform you about delicious pizza! I want it was helpful for all of you~

-Variety Show-

 

 There are many popular variety shows in Korea. I’ll introduce about some variety shows according to rating ranking.

 

 1^st program is Gag Concert. It ranks 15.5% of ratings and it is highest ratings in weekend variety shows. This is the most long-standing comedy program in Korea. And it is ‘Open comedy’ program that doing gag in front of audience. It broadcast in Sunday 9:15 P.M. In Gag concert, there are many hit sections. I’ll introduce one hit sections. ‘Four things’ is popular these days. In this sections, famous comedian who Kim jun-hyeon, Heo gyung-hwan, Yang sang-gook, Kim gi-yeol are appear. They have one deficient thing, and they sublimate this to laugh. I think modern people so boring, but this program make people laugh and happy.

 

  2^nd program is ‘The Law of the Jungle’. It ranks 15.4% of ratings and it is second highest ratings in weekend variety shows. Now it is broadcasting season 2. In this program, guests go many jungles in all around world and experience jungle. Representative jungles where they went are Amazon, New Zealand, Himalaya and so on. Through this program we can show wonderful natural landscape, and feel greatness of nature.

   3^rd program is ‘Dad, where are you going?!’. It ranks 13.6% of ratings and it is third highest ratings in weekend variety shows. Its name is very fun! This program start to broadcast in recently, but it is a great success! It is the program that father and child take a trip together. Fathers are talent like actor, singer, announcer. And their child is almost 6-7 years old. Through this program, they become more intimate. Also, we can see pureness of children and innocence of childhood. Eventually I like Jun-su who sun of Lee jong-huk. They are so intimate and energetic. I want son like Jun-su after I become a mother.

-Jeonju's festival-

 

 

 

 

There are many kind of festival in Jeonju. Now I will introduce about my region’s some famous festival.

 

〮 Jeonju Hanji Culture Festival

-    Hanji is Korea’s traditional paper. Its main material is Paper Mulberry, and it made by Korean unique method. This festival’s main purpose is PR of Han(韓) style and inherit the traditional heritage of Hanji. In this festival we can enjoy Jeonju Hanji International Fashion Show and Hanji craft exhibits. Also we can experience making Hanji and drawing, writing on Hanji.
 

 

  〮 Jeonju International Film Festival

-     This festival’s main purpose is discovering many masterpieces in all around world and enjoying that with audiences.  We can enjoy many great movies and sometimes we can saw actors.^^ Lately, this festival ended in great success.

 

 

 

   〮 Jeonju Bibimbap Festival

-      This festival is Korean representative food tour festival for globalization of Korea. And this festival’s main purpose is attraction of Korean food and secure of global competitiveness. Also there are cooking contest and many performances in this festival. I think through this festival we can inform our traditional food, Bibimbap. And foreigners who don’t know well about Bibimbap can taste through this festival

 

 

 

〮 Jeonju International Fermented Food Expo

       -This is only fermented food expo in all around world. Its main purpose is regional development through fermented food and PR of Korean traditional food culture.  In this festival we can experience many fermented food and many enterprises participate to be selected as a outstanding enterprise. Also we can appreciate fermented food enterprise’s exhibition.

〮 Jeonju International Sori Festival

-      Sori mean sound, but in this festival sori means our traditional music. This festival is based on Pansori, but diverse of music genre performances are harmonized.

   I think through this many festival, we can announce our region’s value. So I want many people interested in our festival.

-CHOCOLATE!-

 

   Today I’ll posting about chocolate. Chocolate is loved by many people. I love this, too. Now I’ll show about chocolate’s origin, type, ingredients and so on.

 

 

 

 Chocolate’s raw material is cacao. Country of origin of cacao is Mexico, Central America and South America. It starts to cultivate at these place about 3000 years ago. Chocolate’s origin is that Olmecs who are ancient Mexico tribe grind and bray chocolate and diluted with water. They don’t only diluted in water but also use of various additives.

 
  In the beginning of 19 century, Van Houten success in pressure of fatty matter, mixing of sugar and solidify so makes a chocolate like today’s chocolate. And Daniel Peters success in added of milk in 1876.

 
  There are three type of chocolate, first chocolate made from 100% chocolate powder, contain nothing. Second made from 60~99% of chocolate powder and contain cream, nut and so on. Third is chocolate cookie, made from 20~59% of chocolate powder and made with wafer, nut and so on. One of the cookies, Chocolate has highly nutritious and much fatty matter, so it makes calorie 550kal per 100g.

 
  Cacao which chocolate’s main ingredient has much polyphenol, it controls active oxygen, cleans our blood and lower blood pressure. So it prevents us from angina, MI, high blood pressure and so on. Also caffeine and theobromine which much contain in chocolate stimulate our central nervous system. Caffeine by improving our brain activity, relieve our stress and fatigue. Also it improves concentration and feels good. So many students eat chocolate on the trial period. But chocolate is high calorie food and high in fat. So if we try this many times, we can become obesity. And excessive consumption of caffeine can cause insomnia, heartburn and so on.

 

  I think sweet chocolate can become sweet poison..^^;
